Our Foundation


Founded in 1993 as a not for profit organisation, its aims are to collect knowledge and enable development of straw work techniques in Switzerland so that the knowledge can be passed on.

Funding for our work is provided by:
- Federal Office of Culture
- Canton Freiburg / Fribourg (section for cultural affairs)
- Loterie Romande
- Pro Patria, Zürich

Our foundation is subject to audit by the Federal Government in Berne.
